Born in South Africa and raised in Zimbabwe, Annabella currently lives in Tepoztlán, Morelos. She began her studies at the Chelsea College of Art in London, UK later coming to Mexico to further her studies in painting, sculpture and ceramics. She exhibited in England and Mexico individually and with other artists, and has taught for the last 27 years on different academic levels.

Born in Holland, Anneke studied at various schools sculpture and jewelry making. Later, she moved to the United States where she worked as an art teacher for children of different ages, and currently lives in Tepoztlán, Morelos.
Antonio is a Mexican artist who has exhibited his works in important venues, such as the Public Museum of Contemporary Art and the Public Museum of Art in Mexico, as well as internationally in Holland and Spain.
Belgian-Mexican Cristina studied at the Saint Lucas Academy, Ghent, Belgium. She holds a MA in French & Spanish Literature from Birkbeck College, University of London. She is an Artist Fellow of the Royal Watercolour Society, London, an active member of the Sociedad Mexicana de Acuarelistas and the Turbina Gallery in Tepoztlán, with over 30 individual exhibitions worldwide and several printed publications.
Deborah Feldman
Deborah studied Veterinary Medicine in UNAM and since 1998 has been dedicated to art. She studied drawing and painting in the workshop of Robin Bond and ceramics with Magda Alazraki. Currently she teaches ceramics in her studio in Tepoztlán and holds workshops on creativity for children.
For more than 20 years, Dina has carried out studies in Awareness and Anatomy in movement, and is a teacher of the subject. After studying painting she worked in the Sculpture Workshop at the Social Security Institute of Fine Arts. She has obtained acknowledgements from the Tamayo Museum, the Universidad Iberoamericana, and the National Center of the Arts
Edurne has devoted herself to textile design and later to fine arts. She created a clothing line, coordinated collection for eight years for Oscar de la Renta and collaborated with the Reforma Newspaper. Since 2002, she has been dedicated to abstract art, having exhibitions in Mexico and abroad; with murals in the Centro Médico ABC Observatorio, Mexico City, and in the Club de Empresario in Bilbao, Spain.
Felipe studied at Casa del Lado, the Escuela de Iniciación Plástica and the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas. He won the Premio del Jurado in Egypt and the award for the technical innovation at the Idéale Museum Leonardo Da Vinci. In 2013, his work was exhibited at the Museo de las Bellas Artes in Toluca and the Museo de Antropología in Xalapa, Veracruz.
Born in Mexico City, Gerda did an investigation about natural color to find the origin about color, researching pre-hispanic color found in Tlapali, the handmade paper with natural colors. She has been a resident of Tepoztlán for the past 4 years.
Helena studied fine Arts at the Institute Cabañas in Guadalajara, with teachers like Hugo Kiehule. Her style is abstract with a lot of importance given the color. She worked for 12 years in the workshop of Archivo Gráfico and 6 years in the Tokyo workshop with Roberto Turnbull.
Mexican of Dutch family. Herminia Grootenboer was a ballerina, choreographer and teacher of contemporary dance. She studied ceramics with different professors, including Javier Cervantes and has held different expositions, both individual and collective. She is a certificated facilitator of Resonance Repatterning System
Janette has painted for over 25 years and works in the Workshop of Archivo Gráfico doing monotypes. She has been part of different collective exhibitions, and currently, her pieces are in the Museum of Bellas Artes in Toluca
Joaquin studied Industrial Design at the School of Design and Crafts of Bellas Artes in Mexico City. He has exhibited in Mexico, Spain and Italy and is represented by the La turbina Gallery.
José studied at La Antigua Academia de San Carlos and in Venice. His work has been displayed in more than 20 individual exhibitions; at the Galería de Arte Mexicano, and galleries in New York, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxemburg. He has permanent work exhibited at the Museo de Arte Moderno, and museums in Oaxaca and Zacatecas
José González Veites
Juanita obtained her degree in Fine Arts from the NAtional University of Bogota, Colombia, and has a masters degree in printing from California State University, Northridge. She has had over 30 individual and 80 group exhibitions in different countries such as Colombia, Mexico, United States, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and Venezuela. She is represented in Mexico by the gallery of the Centro Cultural Casa Lamm.
A Mexican artist, Julie’s work is located in public and private collections in Mexico, USA, Belgium, Spain and China. The ABC Hospital has a collection of 12 pieces, including Inmensidad, in the torre de Hospitalización, Campus Observatorio. Represented at Casa Lamn Gallery, she has participated in different auctions like Oso Fredo, Cajas Mágicas, Máscaras de Aliento, Charity Coalition and more.
Mexican artist born in 1961, leonora studied graphic design at the Universidad Iberoamericana. In 2013, she won third place in mixed technique at Premio Lorenzo el Magnifico in Florence, Italy. Also, in 2012 Leonora won second place in painting at the Bienal in Argentina.
Marcela began her studies in Graphic Design. Since 1997 she has lived in Tepoztlán, studying different techniques of painting and drawing with the professor Von Gunten. She opened APOZONALLI where she teaches workshops and classes to children in her community.
Margara studied art and design in England, later working in Kenya with textiles and natural colors, fashion and its production. She has had several exhibitions in Mexico and England. Margara is a founding partner of La Turbina, Movimiento Artístico de Tepoztlán, A.C
Born in Tuxpan, Veracruz, Margarita has studied art in different workshops with teachers in Mexico and the United States. Her work has formed part of 14 individual exhibitions in Mexico and she has participated in more than 100 collections shown in Mexico, United States, Turkey, Spain, France, Japan, Chile and Argentina
A self-taught artist, Mario grew up sculpting clay figures and drawing. He later worked in the design and illustration of a socialist newspaper creating its posters, and later exhibiting his pieces. The 90's gave form to his work as a clay sculptor; and then he started his principal work, remodeling a house with reliefs and clay sculptures.
Mario Ávila
An American, Mary studied drawing and sculpture at the Corcoran School of Arts in Washington DC, and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. Upon receiving the Lincoln-Juarez scholarship, she moved to Mexico City to study muralism at La Esmeralda School of Art. Currently preparing a 2014 fall exhibit for the Galeria de Arte Mexicano, she has also been a recipient of the scholarship from the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte from the Mexican National Fund for Culture and Arts from 2000-2006 and 2013-2015.
Mexican Architect and BA in Fine Arts (UNAM/Mexico), Miriam's style is defined by her love of architecture. She has received acknowledgments in graphics and in painting, and has exhibited in museums in and out of Mexico. With 18 solo shows and over 200 collectives within Mexico and abroad,she recently published her book: "Points of Reference"
Patricia Henríquez
Patricia has been awarded grants, artist residency and distinctions: 2011 Artist Residency at FONCA—CONACYT; Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China; Tsinghua University. She has had solo exhibitions in Mexico, Spain, USA, and China. Her animated short films have been screened at international festivals in Mexico, China, France, Cyprus, Poland; Museums in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Korea, Indonesia and Cultural Centers in Brazil, USA and Guatemala.
Perla was born in Mexico City, where she lives and works. She studied Graphic Design at the UNAM; and in London did a Diploma in Textiles at Goldsmiths College, and a M.A. in Fine Arts at Chelsea College of Art. In 2010 she had a show in MAM, Museo de Arte Moderno, Mexico City: Huel-las y Trayectos. Perla has exhibited mainly in Mexico and the United States, as well as in Madrid, Paris and Japan where she was part of the Echigo Tsumari Art Triennial. After several Artist residencies she is part of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores del FONCA.
Arturo is an abstract mexican painter. He studied Visual Arts in la Academia San Carlos, UNAM. He has participated in several expositions, individually and collectively, in Mexico and around the world. Some of his recent individual expositions include “4 KINESIS 4” in Bellas Artes, Mexico; “Recent Works” in Gina Dalma Gallery, Charlotte, USA; and “Paradigmas” in the Museum of Modern Art, Toluca, Mexico.
Ana Hilda studied Industrial Design in la Universidad Iberoamericana. She later on studied a masters in Digital Arts in the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes. Some of her recent individual expositions include “Éxodo” in Bellas Artes Museum, Mexico City; “Una mirada verde” in Antropology Museum in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico; and “5th Painting and Mixed Media Competition” in Bulgaria. She won the “Open art contest” from the Leopoldo Flores Museum.
Virginia studied at UAM Xochimilco and at Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas. She was the winner of the Beca Jóvenes Creadores of FONCA. With over 20 years of experience, Virginia has had exhibitions in different museums across the country, in cities like Aguascalientes, Monterrey and Oaxaca, as well as international exhibitions in Houston, Atlanta and Switzerland.
